project goals

LVLY's website should reflect their fun and friendly brand personality.

  • Booking a workshop should be easy and intuitive for all users.

  • The website should work flawlessly on any device (desktop, phone, tablet).

  • Users with disabilities should be able to access and use the website easily.

  • Users can create accounts to manage bookings and view past experiences.

  • The website allows adding and managing new workshops for LVLY admins.

User research

Flowers are known for their beauty and uplifting emotions. Research shows they can quickly boost happiness and improve mood long-term. LVLY aims to cater to adults 18+, particularly women and men in their 20s-30s, aiming to provide a fun, engaging experience for those new to creating bouquets.

The main goals for users, especially first-time bouquet makers, on the LVLY website are:

  • Discover workshops: Browse and explore the variety of floral workshops offered, with information on flower types, price points, and difficulty levels.

  • Get inspired: High-quality photos showcasing past workshops will spark creativity and encourage users to learn about bouquet making.

  • Learn about LVLY: Understand the brand's story, values, founders, and what makes them unique compared to competitors.

  • Manage bookings: Create accounts to review workshop details, cancel registrations, and manage their overall booking experience.

Personas

Both personas are within the target age range, with both of them having boisterous, energetic, go-getter personalities. LVLY’s workshops allow them to discover a new hobby that takes them out of their busy lifestyle, just for a few hours.

Information Architecture

Information architecture provides a framework for organizing and structuring information in a way that serves both users and the business goals of your website or app. Here, the LVLY website requires users to sign in or create an account before they are able to view, book, and reschedule their desired workshops.

Case Study - Visually strong/Competitive Websites

SuperHi

SuperHi is a colorful and playful website offering online design and coding courses. It features a student work showcase, course catalog, shopping cart, about section, and login. Their design uses bold shapes, friendly icons, and custom animations to create a welcoming and engaging user experience. This stands out from the typical minimalist style of educational websites.

Beautiful Bunch

Users can pick bouquets without occasion labels, for a relaxed experience. Bb uses calming colors and clean design on their site, with videos and animations to engage visitors.

Moodboards
